Our first Christmas market with the Christmas Bookshop

In November I attended my first Christmas market in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. The market was Friday evening and all day Saturday, it was indoors so it was nice and warm. 

It was the Trowbridge Christmas light switch on so everyone was in a festive mood. There was a fantastic range of stallholders there, from crocheted goods to Christmas cakes. There was a lantern parade, mulled wine and fireworks to finish. 

It was so nice to talk to customers, see what they are reading, help them pick a book. I designed the backdrop of the stand with a 6ft board of books, this got a lot of comments and compliments- a travelling Christmas Bookshop.

 We will be attending Salisbury Christmas Market on the 6th and 7th of December, this one is outside so we will be taking lots of layers!
